Dr. Joseph Metcalf, MD

Dr. Metcalf monitered the aneurism on the aorta for many years, when it became of critical size, he repaired it 2 years ago, still doing fine. After a mini-stroke this year he did a carotid artery scan & found 80% blockage, immediately set date for scraping, it was bleeding & in critical condition, thankful to Dr. Metcalf & his staff for the excellent care of many years...Thank you, Be Well.

Even though they said in his surgery was in network. The leg compression person. Was not. She was out network. Which costed us 100 percent of the fee 1450.00 and didn’t go towards out of pocket. Or our deduction. Would been nice to have known that. The doctor is real good. But explaining the billing and in and out network. Was misleading and cost us extra. Never should a doctor use out of network services on a patient with out their knowledge. After being told in network. Thats is our main problems with this doctor.

This doctor did surgery on my grandpaw, all i have to say is that when he had surgery....he had to go back two weeks later to have a surgery done to fix the first surgery! Horrible doctor, wouldnt recommend him to anyone!!
