Dr. Joseph Raoul Morin, MD

I haven't seen Dr. Morin in about 5 years and miss having a great Dr for my daughters. We moved several years ago and have not found anyone to compare to him and his office staff. The quality of care we get now is of the lowest rating.

His focus is more on psychiatry, or so he thinks. He misdiagnosed me and put me on several medications. Then , when I became suicidal , he refused to see me or treat me. You see, I wasn't bipolar but being on 7 bipolar meds made me suicidal. He is very rude , mucho pompous!

Dr. Morin has treated my 19 year old autistic child for 12+ years. He has always treated us like we were very important to him. We e-mail weekly concerning my son's behavior and health issues that he may be having at the time and he responds right back with suggestions or if he feels like he needs to speak to me about the issue he will call immediately. I have called him at home on the weekends when my son had an emergency or has had a meltdown that I needed help dealing with. I would highly recommend Dr. Morin to anyone who has a special needs child because he does truly care about them!!!!!

My 2 yr old son was having "episodes" after surviving Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome. He would roll eyes back, turn blue, grit teeth, etc.. He had fallen several times and appeared to me to be having seizure-like activity. My son had cut his eye in a night time fall just prior to this doctor's visit. Dr. Morin gave me a sheet about "Breath Holding Spells." Dr. Morin also requested a sleep deprived EEG which we did and it apparently showed seizure activity as Dr. Morin prescribed Carbatrol. (Carbatrol (CAR-bah-trohl) is a brand name used in the United States for one form of the seizure medicine called carbamazepine) Dr. Morin also called DHS, accusing myself and my current boyfriend -now husband of 8 yrs- of child abuse because of bruises. My son had fallen several times due to this "seizure activity". KEEP IN MIND THIS WAS MY SONS FIRST VISIT TO DR. MORIN. This Dr hadn't even have time to read over my son's medical history. BEWARE of DR. MORIN. He "jumps to conclusions".

I have three children and when I show concerns in two of my kids health he did not seem to care. He yelled at me for letting the Health Dept. look at them because he would not do so. He does not listen to you and talks to you like you are stupid. I would not subject your children to this man. His nurse is very nice but all other staff is rude when you ask for paperwork from them. I had to wait 3 weeks to get shot records for my children and then they where done wrong and had to take them back. DO NOT GO FOR ANY REASON!!

DR MORIN DOESN'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING I HAVE TO SAY OR AT LEAST HE ACTS LIKE HE IS PAYING ATTENTION...HE IS FAST TO LOOK OVER MY KIDS, HE MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I AM STUPID AND THEN HE JUST WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM HE IS RUSH RUSH RUSH!! HE SEEMS LIKE HE IS ALWAYS IN A HURRY AND I HATE THAT! HE IS RUDE! SO I HAVE TAKING MY CHILDREN TO A DIFFERENT PEDIATRICS. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE KIDS NEW DR. WE FEEL WELCOME!
