I have been seeing Dr Murphy annually for the past 10 years following a referral from my general practitioner. My wife was also a patient at one time. What a pleasant and enjoyable experience from my first visit to the most recent! I find both him and his staff to be some of the most pleasant professionals that I have encountered. Questions are answered completely and follow up questions are welcomed. I do not live close to his office, but I will not change just to have a shorter distance to travel.

I came in today on Thanksgiving with trouble breathing. The "doctor" ignored me the entire time and honestly acted very unmuture. I asked him nicely for some sort of medication please, and he offered me tylenol. He said thats anxiety and without handing it to me threw the papers on my lap and left. I hope one day someone close to you falls ill and is given the same answers as me. I hope that no matter how smart you believe you are, you realize none of that will help. Ill be praying for that.

I chose Dr. Murphy because I witnessed his competency while working in the same hospital. He has always had a fine bedside manner with me, returned my calls quickly, answered all my questions, and didn't mind me waking him up in the middle of the night with kidney stone attacks (on numerous occasions). He is on target with diagnosis and excellent at surgery. I couldn't have a better doctor and feel safe in his care. He has an "Irish" way, so don't take things so personally! (smiles) He is kind at heart!

It has been a long time since I had seen Dr. Murghy, but as I remember he was a very fine doctor. He took his time and explained what had caused my symptoms and the treatment process to correct my problem. As far as the staff, they could use a class in courtesy. But that's not all of them. Lets not tear the doctor down because of a receptionists attitude.
