Dr. Joseph Wynne Nolan, MD

Anyone have the information to retrieve the medical records from doctor Nolan cannot find my paper thanks

I began seeing Dr. Nolan in summer of 1997 until he retired this month. I just read all the reviews and started laughing. The man I saw cared, even if he didn't kid around. He listened and repeated back what I said. When the pain got worse he explained my options and didn't hesitate to offer solutions. As for his staff, some of you are just crazy! Those gals were the best. I was in office every 4 months so dealt with them all repeatedly. Best wishes Dr. Nolan. Enjoy being 'house husband". Found someone to treat my fibro but am worried I won't get same relief. Age isn't a joke, for sure.

I've been going to dr. Joseph Nolan for 15 years I have fibromyalgia very few doctors will even talk to you about it he tried everything under the sun to make it better and finally something work. I don't understand the bad reviews every time I was there he took whatever time was necessary and always told me like it was I can't believe he use profanity I'm very sorry that he retired he will be greatly missed. Trying to find someone to replace him has been virtually impossible unless I want to go to pain management sorry I have no respect for that type of help.

I scheduled an appointment regarding a medical problem I was having with my arthritis. During this visit he was not able to provide any help. I recently looked at my medical records from my healthcare provider and the notation was made that my appointment was for hip pain. I don't know where this information came from because I never brought up that I was having problems with my hip. On my way out of my appointment he told me I should be taking Fosamax. I am still scratching my head over this visit. On a positive note he has a great staff working for him.

I saw some of the poor reviews, so I felt the need to post my experience. He and his staff had been nothing but professional. The only negative I can think of is that he's very low key. Because of this, he may come off has disinterested and uncaring. He is interested, and he does care. He was my doctor for 7 years. A little over two years ago I moved out of state, so I had to find another doctor to treat my condition. It has been a huge challenge. No other doctor seems to want to treat me. I miss Dr. Nonan. I have considered flying to Phoenix to see Dr. Nolan again.

In reading prior reviews I am shocked. Can't believe these folks see the same doc I do? Dr. Nolan is very caring and attentive. He spends as much time with me as I need. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He tells it like it is, but is never rude about it. I don't want a doc to sugar coat stuff and hand out drugs like M&Ms. We need more docs like Dr. Nolan. He came highly recommended to me and I would/have recommended him on several occasions. Thanks Dr. Nolan.. you're the best!

I am sad say that the first time I visited this doctor I was very disappointed. His attitude was a bit arrogant and unfriendly. His diagnosis was non-professional in that he basically said my arthritis was just part of getting older and that even he had it. So, I decided to try another visit since then because there are new medications available. He refused an appointment with me because I was late paying my previous bill even though I paid it in full. I actually am relieved because I wouldn't want to be disappointed again.

I didn't get further than calling to make an appointment. The young woman who answered was rude and unprofessional, so much so that I told her to "just forget it." I'll deal with people who actually WANT my business.
