Dr. Joseph Ogarek NEEDS to be reviewed. Ogarek lied and exaggerated on his documentation. Ogarek does NOT care for his patients. Ogarek purposely intimidates and presents a false persona to patients. Please be aware of Ogarek if admitted to Lutheran General’s ER. Please ask for another Dr. for you may be put in the same position as me! Disappointing and disgraceful.

Dr. Joe explained everything clearly. Was kind and showed he cared. This is what you want from an emergency doctor. His support team was great too! Thank you Doctor!

Brought my husband into the ER after having a kidney stone removed a few days earlier at Lutheran. Dr. Ogarek was the doctor seeing and treating him. He blew off my husband’s sever pseudo bowel obstruction as constipation . Luckily I knew this doctor had no idea what he was doing and took him to Northwestern where he spent 9 days. I wouldn’t let this man touch anyone I know as he surly does not know medicine.

Dr. Ogarek lied to my family about my "plan of care", and never notified them what was going on in my 14 hour stay at the ER..was treated inhumanely by this Dr. then he LIED on the documenation to cover his tracks..verbally abusive to me while I was under extreme pain..DON"T see him as if your life depends on it. seeing several doctors now to treat the effects of his "care"

I was seen by Dr. Joseph Ogarek in the emergency room. He eased my anxiety over my illness by his very personable bedside manner. He really listened to me and explained what was happening very clearly. Thank you so much for your expertise care.

Very professional and polite. I was very comfortable with the diagnosis of my injury and was at ease because he genuinely cared and showed compassion towards me and my family. The only regret is that to see Dr. Ogarek you have to be in the ER, but rest assured if you are you will be in good hands!
