The staff is the worst. Even when reported to the professional office, no one cares. Dr P is kind but he has no idea what’s happening in office. His patients have been neglected due to sorry customer service and incorrect information being given to patients and staff. Don’t go here unless you don’t care about your health.

Dr. J. Pagan has been treating me for my pain issues as well as addiction issues for several years and I am thankful and extremely blessed to have found Dr.Pagano when I did. He is not on a mission to dope anyone up but instead he uses his knowledge to help his patients to live with the pain that nothing can be done about and to keep addictions at bay as best he can TRYING to get you to a level of tolerance with his hopes of helping one to be pain med free when possible. Dr Pagano is a breath of fresh air. He listens and truly gets how pain affects your life.

This guy should be put in prison. He is a pill pusher!!! No reason to prescribe 500 hardcore pain pills a month

Dr. Pagano is the best! One of his nurses (David) is terrific also. But the front desk staff has never been anything other than disrepectful, hateful, bossy, demeaning and down right MEAN!!!!! The front office staff are a disgrace to TMH!

Love Dr Pagano He is understanding and thorogho but his front office staff is awfull!! They tell you they will send records same day as requested but over a week and still not there. Also the phone system is impossible to leave a message PLEASE GET NEW FRONT DESK HELP WHO ARE COURTEOUS!!!

This man goes way above and beyond his duties as a doctor! His staff is absolutely amazing and they treat every single patient with respect! I’ve dealt with numerous doctors over the years, searching for a pain management doctor that listens to my concerns,understands, offers his input and works WITH my husband and I to help us BOTH understand exactly what we need and what we have to do in order for me to have a less painful and more enjoyable life. He’s been our miracle worker. He’s not just another doctor with a prescription pad that throws pills at you and sends you on your way. He’s actually the first one I’ve ever seen that WANTS to HELP you! He wants you to enjoy your life and family without having to be constantly in pain and trying to figure out how to “get out of doing the things you REALLY want to do” because you’re so worried that you won’t be able to enjoy yourself due to your pain level. I thank the lord for Dr. Pagano’s knowledge and, for actually taking the time to… understand what my family and I have been dealing with for decades. He’s an amazing doctor! I’m very thankful for this man!

I have been advising this office for over a week that their totally inefficient phone messaging system was not responding. Today ( after several in-person attempts to reach ANY sane person, I had to return AGAIN. The office was empty. But I could hear the front staff of one, per usual, talking loudly to a " visitor." There was no bell to ring; NO WAY to get her attention. I had called the number three times, the last time seconds before I walked in the door. I asked for my scripts or to speak with the office manager. I also said, " I had to come in because you did not answer the phone. ( she had been sitting visiting literally as I was calling) but denied receiving a call ( not truthful) and denied anything was wrong with the lhone system. LOL. THEN, I was ORDERED to " sit down" as she tried to close the ostensibly privacy-insurance frosted windows....again, tbe most antiquated and unrecommended method in any physician office. So, as ORDERED, I sat and waited. And as on… prior occasions, cd hear everything. I became so nauseated...and so disgusted, I finally just left. I did not receive a f/u call from the office manager. I tested the so-called phone system again tonite. Although it has been chabged slightly since I left today, you STILL cannot leave a message regarding appts....I gave up on the other prompts. I am posting this, mysecond one...because, gee...seems my other comment did not get posted. THIS IS A TRAVESTY AND A SHAME FOR DR PAGANO AND HIS CLINICAL STAFF. He strives to see pts expedientlyl and for a harmonious environment but this kind of maltreatment/abuse from front staff is likely the cause of so many unsatisfied patients. Dr Pagano is EXCELLENT but only a masochist would steel themselves to deal with the " gatekeeper." He has to take whomever TMH assigns him; as busy as he is, I doubt he knows what pts have to endure. I nevertheless recommend him but lets hope you have pigeons which can deliver your message to him. Let's hope you have a high tolerance for having glass doors unnecessarily slammed on your hand mid-sentence. Yep. THIS is what at least some pts have to go through. And, my question is, why has nothing been done about it? And I dont mind signing my name: Jane McNeely.

Dr. Pagano is superb in every way: a true professional expert. That said, he does NOT deserve the impression left on vulnerable patients by his front staff. He IS very busy: expect to wait. But, if the FRONT staff lost their attitude, patients would not resort to desperation, anger. ACCOLADES TO Dave, his senior nurse who exceeds my expectations in every way. A few tips: having frosted glass in front creates a sense of isolation in waiting room. Turn off that t v...at least mute it. Stop the proliferation of signs: one is effective. Countless others admonishing pts etc DO NOT work...it is overload. PLEASE get your phone lines straightened out: a patient CANNOT get through. And lost that Gestapo attitude, front staff. It is one thing to have rules; it is entirely different to be abusive. I nevertheless maintain: Dr. Pagano is one of the most observant, cautious, compassionate MDs you will find. Just understand: at present, you are at the mercy of the front staff. So… get in line, be meek and passive and dont invoke that staffs' wrath.
