Dr. Joseph Michael Polito II, MD

My visit with DR. Polito today was very pleasant. The staff rendered a prompt and friendly service. The wait to see him was not too long. Upon meeting with Dr. Polito I noticed that he was very formal, pleasant and communicative. To my surprise, he referred to a discomfort I have experienced in the past. I informed him that that problem had resolved. I expressed some worries I had about a sibling diagnosis, illness and misfortune. He patiently and throughly explained rarity of an illness like this replicating to a sibling. He also reviewed and discussed my medical history and informed me of future procedures. All in all, I enjoyed DR. Polito’s demeanor and professionalism.

Ive been a patient of Dr Polito since 2003 and would never change. I will never forget on my very 1st appt , Dr Polito said I needed an endoscopy. I told him I was starting a new job the following Monday and he said, "dont worry, I will make sure you get in" and he went to his admin and said, squeeze her in this week! During the years, my appointments have always been thorough. He is very down to earth and spends the time you need explaining so you understand.

Very pleased with Dr. Polito and my consultation with him. He reviewed my medical records from other doctors that I had brought with me, and from that, advised me of my options, and the risks vs. benefits of further GI testing and workup. He is now to contact the referring cardiologist, and keep me informed. I give him five stars. However, gathering all pertinent prior medical records prior to being seen (which is required of every patient) is an arduous task. Accurate and complete documentation of all pertinent prior history must be undertaken and completed before the appointment by someone who is computer literate and who can navigate a portal.

He is a great doctor. So caring and thourough.

He treats his patients with kindness and excellence.Dr. Polito's expertise reflects advanced training at one the most emininent institutions in the U.S. Johns Hopkins. Importantly, I am aware that Dr. P. is knowledgeable of the latest research. Supporting professionals (Deborah and Mary) work with Dr Polito as a responsive TEAM so that all questions are answered in an expeditious and complete manner. I feel very fortunate to receive this care.

today,I supported a family friend who was having tests to rule out gi bleeding due to anemia. dr. polito was very compassionate to this young patient.
