Dr. Joseph Miller Porter IV, MD

After 3 calls Dr. Porter did not submit a prescription or call me to advise me that he would not call it in. His staff are rude.

I have used Dr. Porter for many years as my general practioner. I can honestly say he has always helped me with my problems and almost always on the first try. His staff gets me in promptly (if I ask for it due to illness) and the wait time is reasonable. As an example of his skill, although not an ear nose and throat specialist, I went to him for a chronic ear infection b/c I could not get an appointment with an ENT who would take my insurance. I explained my long history of ear infections and myrongotomies (tubes in ears). He prescribed medicine that began working in 72 hours. Mind you, this was a chronic ear infection. You can trust your problems to Dr. Porter. He also has a good "bedside manner", has good listening skills, and has accepted multiple insurance policies. If you know how to navigate Clifton he is easily accesible from Route 80 east or west (Rt 80 to Rt 19 to Colfax Avenue to Mt Prospect). From multiple years of experience, he is well worth the drive. If you are local… to Clifton, Paterson or Montclair, it's a "no-brainer". I am male, age 54, in good overall health.
