Price is a dangerous and evil doctor. He destroyed many years of my life with his incompetence. I have paid every day for every minute of his evil and manipulative treatment. He is totally our of his depth as a doctor. HIs conduct has an overtone of inappropriate sexual behavior. I wish I had the emotional fortitude to fight for the removal of his license. Joseph Price is a predator. He is evil. Run, run, run away from him.

This is a far cry from the enormous 'systems' we have created that have lost the focus of patient care except through extensive marketing campaigns. Here, the care is real and focused on you. I started with Dr. Joe Price in 2018 when the doctor at the small clinic I was previously visiting left. I am very happy with my change! His office is part of a vintage old Philadelphia home - the waiting room is a relaxing space, with plants and water fountains, a porch-like setting. Dr. Joe features a holistic approach to healing and can offer recommendations for many non-medical services, like acupuncture. If you are looking for a holistic approach to your care, this is the place. If you prefer a cold waiting room with someone behind glass and a TV showing health tips or worse, a talk show (the typical system), then Dr. Joe may not be a fit for… you.

The people he has working threre now are awful

The practice is old and unkempt with the earth appearing to seep up through the waiting room's stone floor. We arrived early to fill in forms and completed them prior to the appointment. We were surprised when another client arrived and was shown in exactly 2 minutes ahead of our scheduled time of 09:30. That took an over an hour of our time. The individual breezed in and out. Dr Price failed to apologize or explain himself. We had booked the appointment and fully explained that it was needed simply to get a repeat prescription, and reiterated this requirement to Dr Price when he asked why we had come. Further advising him that due to the lost hour, we would need to be away within 10-15 minutes for another appointment in the City. He spent almost all that time selling an holistic 'brand offering' and promoting his 'contract' with his patients which, by the way, fails to respect their time. He did not apologize for his cavalier approach to the needs of others. His office is a… mess, cluttered, dusty and tired. Medical journals appear to be stacked up in piles without obvious signs of ever being read. He spent far too much time selling himself and very little asking questions or attending to time-constraints - it became obvious then, why the gate-crasher (in my booked time) was with the doc for so long! I got my prescription, finally, within 18-19 minutes by bringing his attention back to the prescription. In fact, the actual task with a few obvious questions took less than five minutes - the sales pitch took the rest! His staff then booked my insurer for an hour-long consultation! I disputed the account to their correct/advised address and over 2 months later had no reply, just a further statement. Complacency seems to be a way of life there! If you have little to do in your life and do not mind a self-promotional sales-pitch for an holistic brand of diluted best-medical practice, then Joe Price may well be the chap for you. But do not expect an apology if he jumps your appointment for someone else. Of course, my experience may not be yours, but do not expect a clean, a tidy, or an organized environment... unless this review prompts overdue action to catch up with this millenium.

Dr. Price is everything he claims to be on his website. He is a good listener, he pursues whole health, he cares about his patients.
