Dr. Joseph Robert Resnikoff, MD

I called in to make an appointment. I was confused on what I needed to do so I asked her a specific question. She referred me to just go to a my primary care doctor. I don’t have one and told her dr. Resnikoff has been a trusted doctor for me and the only one I have seen ragardinng my asthma and if I should go to a primary care doctor instead of pursuing him. She ended up getting me an appointment with him a week later. He’s a very good doctor! I needed a prescription as soon as possible and I was confused on how to go about it before waiting a week. She responded to me very condescendingly, inpatient, and rude. She treated me with littl respect and made me feel very low for my question. I even apologized to her on the phone and I went to apologize again at the end and say thank you and she hung up after making my appointment. She didn’t say goodbye. She didn’t proffessionally end the call by saying “see you Friday at 3.” People call in expecting to be treated well as if they… are going into a place who cares for you. People calling in with breathing problems are stressed and these front desk ladies are getting paid to be the voice on the phone to make people feel confident and less stressed by being professional, patient, and kind. At the least KIND. I’m very upset and got off the phone in tears and am very disappointed. I want to see dr. Resnikoff but I don’t want to walk into the office and deal with the front desk! And the ladies behind it who don’t even know the impact they have on how this office is viewed. If they need to take phone etiquette with people who call in and need help who are kind and apologetic and these ladies want to treat them low and hang up on them then they need to take a class or get reprimanded by the doctor and make sure no matter jay they are respectful. I’m very bothered by them. Very bothered they represent a doctor like him. Take there job for granted and he is losing people based on how these women make there patients feel believe it or not.

Great doctor

Dr. Resnikoff treated me with respect and excellence. He is quite well-trained and experienced. I appreciate the care he provided for a difficult diagnosis. He's the best.

He not only misdiagnosed me he was insistent upon diagnosing me prior to getting any test results back, i.e. blood work, x-rays. He was rude and arrogant when he was wrong regarding his diagnosis, but did tell me I could return in 90 days. Gee thanks.
