Dr. Joseph T Santoso, MD

Dr. Santoso is a great Doctor and a great people person. He has the best bedside manners of a Doctor that I have ever seen. He has taken good care of my mom since her challenging life event. I trust him with my mom's life. The nurses are are so very nice and wonderful. They all work together to get the process done. Thank God for putting the right medical staff in my mom's path.

I was referred to Dr. Santoso by my primary care physician after discovering endometrial hyperplasia. From the beginning, Dr. Santoso made me feel at ease by his personal approach, making connections through conversation, and reassuring me he was going to take care of me. After my first appointment, I believed his recommendation was the right path for me, so I proceeded with a robotic hysterectomy. His confidence, expertise, and professionalism is unsurpassed. He makes you feel like you are the most important patient. Fortunately, my outcome was no cancer, but even if it had been, I would have trusted Dr. Santoso going forward. I highly recommend Dr. Santoso.

With heartfelt gratitude, I am sharing my experience of being under the care of Dr. Joseph T. Santoso. He explains and of equal importance to me, Dr. Santoso listens. He is compassionate, reassuring and exceptionally skilled. For these reasons, I completely trust him and had no fear of undergoing a recent surgery, at age 70. As expected, my care under Dr. Santoso and the wonderful Baptist Women Health Center team was exceptional.

He is a skilled, knowledgeable surgeon that listens well, and explains everything to you in a way you can understand what’s going on. I was a high risk patient, with lots of complications. Dr Santos addressed every problem and resolved all issues. Anyone who sees him should have total trust and faith that they are getting the best possible care.

This practice got it right! The wait time is short, Dr. Santoso is knowledgeable, patient and very understanding. His staff are friendly, supportive - almost feel like you are the only patient, though you know that he has the busiest gyn oncology practice in the mid south.

For over a year, I have had some gynaecological issues and my symptoms have persisted... So, I recently saw Dr Joseph T Santoso for a second opinion. My experience with Dr Santoso has led me to believe that not only he is a highly knowledgeable, skilled and efficient clinician, but also he is a very kind, caring, understanding and compassionate individual. Throughout my visits, Dr Santoso spent ample time listening to my anxieties and thoroughly addressing my many questions of concern.Dr Santoso’s thoroughness and efficiency have been exceptional – he undertook a variety of diagnostic procedures in addition to instituting immediate therapeutic measures even during my initial consultation. He was also exemplary in elaborately explaining my test results and allaying my various fears during the follow-up appointment. His confidence, kindly reassuring manner, and highly practical advice on ways to strengthen my immune system are all genuinely appreciated. I highly recommend Dr Santoso to… any ladies!!! Besides, all the staff there are very nice and supportive!!!

he and his staff are super caring. wait time is very short. there was one visit that was delayed because he was called into emergency to help other doctors in the operating room. but his staff updated me frequently and he came back apologizing for his delay. his office is clean and efficient. you cannot go wrong with this doctor!

he is probably one of the busiest doctor with so many patients. But his waiting room is almost empty because somehow he is able to see his patients on time or with very little waiting time. very organized office with staff who are pleasant, professional and eager to please. very good bedside manner. from what I researched on line, he wins top doctors awards and teaching awards every year. superb experience
