Dr. Savitz specializes in the non surgical treatment of most back/neck problems and other non surgical musculoskeletal issues. We have onsite diagnostics as well as physical therapy. Dr. Savitz also serves as the medical director for the Occupational Health Center of the Athens Orthopedic Clinic, the premier Orthopedic Specialty practice of North Georgia.

Iâ??m disappointed with Dr. Savitz for the following reasons: He rushed the exam because he had a drug representative waiting in the lobby. His demeanor left a lot to be desired. I think that Dr. Savitz is of the opinion that sick people exist for his benefit. No encouraging or kind words were uttered from his lips. This was my first time to meet the doctor. He might have of been having a bad day.

He did a great job at diagnosing my wife's problem and his non surgical approach was appreciated. He spend more than enough time with us. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr Savitz was thorough, spent time listening.Labs and x rays consistent with symptoms. Dr Savitz recommended conservative wait and see approach for back pain, rather than expensive MRI. Appointment was fairly quick to get and dr was on time for appointment. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Savitz is an excellent physician. He is extremely thorough with his exam, diagnositc decision making, treatment and follow up. He does a good job at managing complex medical problems and referring out to other specialists when needed. He is also pleasant, relates well to his patients and listens.
