My scared, hurting 11-year old daughter's severe issues developed and escalated all in the span of 2 weeks. She is confused about what is taking place with her. She was extremely scared about walking into this appointment. Dr. Schembri's first comment to her, without even asking her name was to bark a stern admonishment to her that was not even remotely warranted. Not only was it an inappropriate way to speak to anyone, not only was it arguably the worst opening line by a child psychologist in history, it made her cry for 20 minutes. His 4th comment to her was equally degrading and out of line. I ended the "appointment" immediately at that point. I am not sure if I will ever be able to get my daughter to walk into a psychologist's office again. How does this man have a job working with children? How does this man have a job?

I saw Dr. Schembri for an urgent appointment for my child, he was compassionate and knowledgeable. He had excellent advice for some behavioral issues that we are working on.

Working with Dr. Schembri has gone well from the start. His good humor and openness made it easy to engage with him. The treatment suggestions and understanding he offered helped immediately.

Dr. Schembri was empathetic, direct, and helpful when I went to him for help. He helped me through a difficult transition and remains available if I need to call on him again.

Extremely unprofessional and borderline abusive. The absolute worst psychologist I have ever encountered in my life. I feel bad for anyone who ends up with him as their Dr.
