Dr. Joseph Michael Serra

Dr. Serra is the ONLY dentist I will allow to work in my mouth. I I need anything other than general dentistry, he must give the recommendation. Since I live in NYC, I fly into Charleston to see him. I'm just learning that he has left the practice in Summerville. Does anyone know where he is located now?

I was recommended to go to an LVI dds, so I was confident in choosing Dr. Serra since he teaches for them, until the promise of getting me functioning failed over and over. He was very quick to extract $25k, but took 8 months putting me in more pain. All I asked for was a refund while he continued to work on me so I would not have to go bankeupt paying interest on loans for the services I had not yet recieved. My appointment was cancelled and a "box of teeth" came in the mail with a letter saying no refund because he fulfilled his duties. I ended up having to go to a dentist in my emergent condition who prompty had to do a ton of work to fix at least partially what Dr. Serra did. LVI dentistry is dangerous and a joke. Fixed orthotics messed me up bad. Infection that was blown off as "irritated gums" by Dr. Serra, and potential hairline fracture in jaw due to the numerous times the orthotic was placed and removed over temp crowns. I thought he was a good guy, I was fooled. He does NOT… care about anything but the money....it was definitely proven in my case...when he called us "friends" ....yeah.

He is awesome.
