Dr. Joseph Bagley Shumway, MD

Can someone tell me how/where to contact Dr. Shumway. He delivered my twins in 2010 and I am in need of my medical records from that time.

We should have listened and never gave him a chance!!

hope to see him back soon so that at the very least others can recieve the blessing of knowing that there is a doctor that cares.

Dr. Shumway delivered my last two of my children. He eased the worry and concern during my first pregnancy. He values life. He always made sure I was aware of what was going on during my c-sections. I still have the tissue box of the diagram he illustrated of my uterus! He always came in a sat down and talked with us and had a sincere desire ot understand our family and to make sure we were aware with what was going on. My son's deliverey was most memorable. But, I do remember him coming in the morning after my son's birth. My husband asked him to sign his leave statement for work. He agreed and commended my husband for taking time off to help me and be home with the baby. I love doctor Shumway and refer anyone who is having problems to him. He is all about family and children and requests to see the kids when I would come in for an appointment!!! If you read this, Dr. Shumway, we love you and are most grateful for you!

Dr. Shumway has got to be one of the most caring and intelligent physicians I have every seen. He takes very good care of his patients. He is very down to Earth and approachable. He answers any and all questions, even if you think you are being silly. Dr. Shumway saved my daughter's life when the cord prolapsed during L&D. After my emergency c section, I was very out of it but, he made sure I was understanding what he was telling me. One of my favorite memories is when he came in to talk to me and I was holding the baby, I had pushed the med button right before he walked in and it was working big time. I asked him if he would please hold my baby girl and he said yes, I promptly fell asleep. When I woke up, he was still sitting there holding her and just staring down at her. It was a beautiful moment for me. Dr. Shumway, If you read these, I just want to say thank you so very much for all that you do for us. You could be very clinical if you want to and not invest yourself with… patients but, you go above and beyond what I would expect for any doctor. You share stories, suggestions, life history of even your own children, and you share yourself with all of us. Thank you!

Dr. Shumway delivered 2 of my sons and I was extremely high risk. He put all my fears at ease and was so caring. Whenever I would call and he wasn't there, they usually direct you to the on-call Dr. but for some reason Dr. Shumway would find out I talked to someone else and called me back. I really appreciated his bedside manner as well as knowledge of everything that was going on with my pregnancies. Dr. Shumway is THE BEST!!!
