Dr. Joseph Bernard Singer, MD

My children were inadequately cared for by the providers at Riverside pediatrics. My oldest was not diagnosed with asthma until she transferred to an adult practice at 18. This was despite multiple respiratory infections and also reporting shortness of breath to her providers, Dr. Koster and Dr Gabrielson. Another of my children will suffer life long consequences due to the oversight of his provider, Dr Singer. If he was referred to a specialist early on, he most likely would have had a different outcome. Unfortunately, it is too late to treat. When my youngest two children were referred to specialists, there was no follow up at all. I had to remind Dr. Singer they were seen by a specialist. One time he made it seem like that wasn’t his fault or problem because the specialist didn’t send him their consult note. Riverside Pediatrics should be tracking their referrals and requesting those notes prior to my children’s appointments. There’s absolutely no follow up with these doctors at… all! I should have ran for the hills the time my husband took my youngest to Dr Gabrielson for a sick visit. While they were there my husband asked her to please remove a splinter from my child’s foot that was still there after several failed removal attempts at home. It was hurting his foot and we didn’t want it to become infected. Dr Gabrielson told my husband to take my child to the urgent care because she “doesn’t do that”. Due to the fact that I didn’t have anything to compare these experiences to, I thought this was normal. Looking through my children’s records I found multiple height discrepancies and false documentation that we received patient education when in fact we were never given any patient education.

I like Dr.Singer.both my children see him.i don't have any question at this timei think he is a very good doctor.He takes good care of the children.
