Dr. Skapars graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biology. Dr. Skapars then graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry, where he received world-class training in all aspects of general dentistry. After completing a tour of duty with the Coast Guard, Dr. Skapars began his professional dental practice in Annandale, Virginia in 1972. Dr. Skapars was an adjunct professor of dentistry at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry until 1995.
