Dr. Joseph Spataro, MD

Dr Spataro delivered my children 14 and 16 years ago and he was wonderful. Great bedside manner, always compassionate.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Spataro. He explains everything and doesn’t make the patient nervous. What a great doctor!

The Dr is good and knowledgable I trusted his information. HOWEVER, why he works in such a filthy office is beyond my comprehension. The floors look as if they have not been mopped in years. The "Official Office Sign" in the window is one of those temporary things that faded in the sun. Their ultrasound machine is in a room off the lobby that has a window in the door. The technician who runs the machine left the door open to the room where the I was lying on the table, half dressed, and obviously whoever was in the lobby could see me through the window. I asked her to close the door and she said, "No, it gets too hot in here for me". Of course I was the one on the table exposed to anyone, not her. And she did not speak English well enough to answer my questions or understand my concerns. I went back to my primary care physician and told him that I felt as if he sent me to a third world country. I would NEVER recommend this office and in fact I was so stunned by it's condition, I was… surprised it had not been closed by the board of health. Oh, and the front desk girls were taking my money and information while eating out of to-go containers. Nice.

I love Dr. Spataro!!!! he's kind and warmhearted and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable at all!!! the office staff i can do without, but i will definately never go anywhere else!!!!

Dr.Spataro is compassionate and caring.He explains things in a language that I can comprehend.Includes my husband in all discussions and makes him feel like he is a part of this process.I am thankful that i found him and I am extremely satisfied with my experiences I have had with him.I would highly recommend Dr.Spataro.

I was having trouble finding a OBGYN when someone told me about him. I can see how some people could find him a little strange (because he's a big guy who calls you sweetie and jokes around a little) but I really like that about him. You can tell that he has a passion and love for delivering babies. This is my first baby and I have had A LOT of questions which he answers without looking at his watch. So Nice. I also really like the comfy waiting room and the staff is always so nice and warm.

Saw a female doctor for the first half of my pregnancy and felt as though everything i asked and questioned she was rolling eyes and brushing off. Turned out i had developed a heart condition from the pregnancy. Started seeing Spataro and he took the time to go through every question and answer everything with time and patience. His manner and demeanor were all very professional. The delivery with him was hysterical, he kept everything moving in a positive direction, making jokes with me and my husband during the looooongest and most difficult 2 hours in delivery. Highly recommend! His office - im not a fan.
