Awful injected a antiflaxis shot into my IV instead of into my thigh sending me into cardiac arrest, multiple problems after this. could not sue the ER where I was at due to the fact he was a Temp DR. NEEDs to have his medical license pulled in ALL States !!!!! He blamed the nurses for giving incorrect shot !

Very professional and helpful extremely knowledgeable. Hit the nail on the head within minutes. He didn't sugar coat the diagnosis as had been done in the past. We need more Dr Spennettas

Dr. Spennetta took time with me during a recent illness. He explained why he recommended ordering a CT and how it would help with diagnosis of my illness. He was very compassionate and explained my condition in words that I could understand.

Gave detailed assessment and took great care of me.

I saw Dr. Spennetta when I came to the ER with concussion symptoms after I fell and hit my head. He was rude and condescending and made me feel stupid for coming to the ER. He said the only way to really tell if I had a concussion was to do a CT and he really didn’t think my brain needed the extra radiation. No neuro assessment or concussion testing was done. I went home frightened to go to sleep that night. The next day my primary care provider diagnosed me with a moderate concussion after doing the appropriate tests. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Spennetta.

Came into the ER with lower left abdominal pain, while 8 weeks pregnant. Described my symptoms in medical terms since I'm a nurse and he flat out asked me if I was a hypochondriac or what I did for a living. Had to explain I was a RN and had been trying to treat my symptoms at home knowing very well the limited diagnostic options I have at 8 weeks pregnant. Only lab he wanted to run was a UA/UC because knowing I'm pregnant, my labs would already look abnormal and without other symptoms beyond the pain, he didn't feel I had anything else going on beside muscle spasms. I had to request that my blood work be run still in order to have some base line information. Would preferred someone else, but he was the only MD in the ER that night.

He was very rude! He would not listen to a thing I had to say! He said oh wait a minute and talked talked talked.

I was unfortunate enough to end up with Dr. Spennetta after I was in a very traumatic accident. He insisted that I was just jammed up and ordered NO xray, nothing of the sort! After setting another doctor, and after an MRI, I actually had broken my neck. I now am up for my second surgery and I've been suffering from crippling pain for almost 3 years. How is he allowed to practice???

I would discourage anyone from seeing Dr. Spennetta. He is rude, crass, arrogant and treats his female patients in a.very inappropriate manner.
