Dr. Joseph Stephen Strebel, MD

Dr. Strebel gave me an Interlaminar Epidural injection today, and the only discomfort I had was a slight bit of pain with the lidocaine injection beforehand. He was kind, compassionate, and reassuring throughout the procedure and his staff were, as well. I had read a bad review and was super stressed, but the review was completely unfounded. I would highly recommend him for pain management. He answered all of my questions patiently and completely and helped me to feel comfortable throughout the procedure.

He is not familiar with his office's policies and gives false hope regarding scheduling important procedures. Also, the office does not allow patients to talk to him directly, through voicemail, or any other method after you find this out. So, there is no way to discuss issues with the doctor after you find out he gave you misinformation. A procedure he told me could be done within a day really couldn't be scheduled for 3+ weeks. This causes disappointment due to giving false hope and the office causes long delays in treatment of pain management which only serves to increase dependency on medication that should only be relied on short-term.
