Dr. Joseph John Szustak, DO

Excellent staff, they are kind and very helpful I've never had to wait more than 10 mins in the waiting room. I've been a patient of Dr. Szustaks since 1993, he is one of the best Dr's in the valley, he's caring, listen's and doesn't rush you out the door. Highly recommend.

After yesterday's visit I felt that both Dr Szustek and his nurse, didn't listen to closely to what I had to say, due to a new computer program which seemed to be giving them trouble. I also feel that Dr Szustek is more interested in my mental health rather than my physical well being.

Dr. susztak listened carefully and communicated well. I felt I had been heard.

Refuses to see patients when they are sick, refuses to take the extra step to clear things with insurance...extremely ineffective and his office staff refuses to let you speak with him on the phone. If you have prior medical conditions, he doesn't match those symptoms to current symptoms. My mother had cancer, showed symptoms of brain cancer, begged for an MRI and he refused bc it required him calling the insurance; told her it wouldn't be covered and sent her home with possible vertigo. Never offered to give an emergency referral for an ENT was going to let her travel on a plane and wait 2 weeks for ENT appointment. Also, is off at least once a week and requires you schedule him weeks if not months in advance?. Please don't take your family here. Isn't the first time either.
