Joseph Tremmel, MPAS, PA-C

Dr. Joseph Tremmel is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor in anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School who specializes in pediatric perioperative care and anesthesiology for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing complex surgical and diagnostic procedures. He is part of the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine, where he works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, family-centered care for pediatric patients across a wide range of specialties. Dr. Tremmel completed his medical training and advanced residency and fellowship training in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology at leading academic medical centers. In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in medical education and quality improvement efforts focused on advancing pediatric anesthesia practices and enhancing patient safety in perioperative medicine.
