My experience with this man was traumatizing. I will remember it for the rest of my life. He treated me like I was the scum of the earth at a time in my life when I was very sick, very confused, and very frightened. I had developed a disabling chronic pain in my abdomen that had made me almost immobile for months and no-one was able to diagnose the problem. After seeing several doctors, having many tests, making many trips to the E.R., and having multiple abdominal surgeries to try to resolve the pain, with no success, I ended up mistakenly in the care of this man (because my husband was desperate to find relief for me but did not understand what he was getting me into). Not only did he have no empathy for the disabling pain that I was dealing with, he could not have spoken to me or treated me more unkindly. It really is a shame because the medication he put me on helped tremendously with my pain and I am still on it today and able to function again. I say it's a shame because… while he was able to help me physically, he also hurt me very much mentally and emotionally. He made it so much worse for me by making me question what it was about myself that warranted such extreme unkindness towards me especially at a time when I was so ill, confused, and frightened already (which I realize now that it was something about himself, not something about me, that must have warranted it). It's also a shame because he is one of only a few doctors in the area who is certified to prescribe the medication that I take so some people may have no other choice than to go to him. Thankfully, I found a doctor shortly after leaving his care who is also certified to prescribe my medicine and who could not be more empathetic, kind, patient, and understanding. The doctor I have now goes to show that you can be a good doctor and be kind and empathetic at the same time. I hope that this review can help someone else from going to Dr. Troncale, if at all possible. He was downright mean, for no reason, again at a time when I was very sick confused, and frightened (not knowing why I had the disabling pain for months, and not knowing when or if anyone was going to be able to figure a way out to help me, was very frightening). I truly hope no-one else has to experience what I did with Dr. Troncale. I could never figure out or understand why he was so unkind and still can't to this day. I think that I am a forgiving person who generally gives people the benefit of the doubt but to me there was and is NO excuse for the kind of behavior he exhibited as a doctor to me. I would not recommend him unless it is as an absolute last resort.

Don't like him, he doesn't listen to anything you have too say, treats you like he k nows itr all, and your a two years old. Cant stand him

I saw Dr Troncale at the LGH Urgent Care in Ephrata. He was professional and compassionate. His diagnosis was correct, and he was sincere and genuine. It was comforting to have such good care!
