Dr. Joseph W. Turek

My son is turning 1 next month thanks to Dr Turek. This has been a scary year filled with new terminology and a complex unexpected CHD. Dr Turek has guided us through this fear and has not only surgically performed magic, but he’s also explained every step to us in an approachable manner. He is an incredible surgeon and an incredible human. We are lucky to have him taking care of our little man.

Dr. Turek is not only an amazing surgeon but a wonderful man all the way around! He just did my daughter's open heart surgery 2 weeks ago and he did such an amazing job on her. There is absolutely not enough words to describe how grateful I am that my daughter had him as a surgeon. We will forever be grateful to him. I will be recommending EVERYONE I can to him. You will not even be the slightest disappointed. Thank you Dr. Turek once again for the outstanding job you did!

Dr. Turek has done 3 of my sons open heart surgeries and we truly trust him with our entire hearts to give him the best care and make the best decisions for our son. His bed side manner is exactly what ou are looking for in a doctor definetly when dealing with your child and having many emotions.

Dr. Turek assisted with my son's open heart surgery. The surgery went very well. Dr. Turek was very personable and did a good job of explaining the surgery at our pre-op appointment. After surgery, he continued to check in on our son and listened to any questions or concerns that we had. We were very impressed with his bedside manner and the follow-up care.

Dr Turek is a great dr and surgeon! He cares about his patients and their families! Our daughter had surgery at the age of 2.5 and she says, "I love Dr Turek, he fixed my broken heart!" Out of the mouth of babes!

Dr. Turek has done three open heart surgeries on our son: Norwood, Hemi-Fontan and Lateral Tunnel Fontan. He is truly a lifesaver. He remembers every family that he cares for and will go out of his way to ask how they are doing. His skill is amazing but Dr. Turek is more than just our son's heart surgeon. He has become family.

Dr. Turek took wonderful care of our son when he had to replace his pacemaker. Dr Turek told us our son was a complex patient and he was also a challenge but he never gave up the fight for our son. When we see him in tje hospital he always says hi and ask how everything is goin.

Dr. Turek was a great surgeon, he made it very easy for us to understand what was going on with our child and explained the whole process to us. He is very caring and answered all of our questions. The best quote came from our daughter after her operation, "I love Dr. Turek! He fixed my broken heart!" Thank you, Dr. Turek, for saving our daughter's life!! We are forever greatful!
