Dr. Joseph John Van Nort, MD

Have had many visits with Dr Van Nort for myself, friends, child and all have been very positive!

Very professional, intelligent and compassionate

It was my observation that Dr. Van Nort has a complete lack of respect for his patients. His "bedside manner" was non-existant. He lacked professionalism completely. When he arrived in my Grandfather's room, he had not review the chart and had no knowledge of his condition. He turned his back on us while he reviewed the chart. Then proceeded to say, "He's only got Pneumonia" why have all of these test been ordered?" Someone ordered the test...it's his job to know who and why. Following MRI, CT, Brain wave testing, lung scan and numerous labs we were told..."He only has pneumonia". My Grandfather was sent home and then had to return the next day. Upon his return, we were told that my Grandfather has a blockage in his Aorta, severe infection (C.def), and poor kidney function. It's amazing that one Dr can find this information in the chart, but all Dr. Van Nort came up with was..."It's JUST pneumonia". I wouldn't want him to treat my animals and he will absolutely NEVER treat… my family again. I'm extremely disappointed in you, Dr. Van Nort. (I didn't want to offer a single "star" on this review. However, you can't proceed without doing so.
