Dr. Joseph Michael Verska, MD

This horrible surgeon, botched my mother's back surgery and gas absolutely no care for his patient's. He caused my mother a life time of disability and could care less. It is my understanding that he isn't even allowed to practice medicine. Shame on the spine institute for having such an incompetent surgeon on staff. Do not ever go to this quack.

HORRIBLE " Dr. "

I traveled out of the area to have Dr. Verska perform my spine surgery. Thank you to Dr. and all of his staff! Dr. Verska performed surgery on my mother and father, he can highly recommended!

I had neck surgery and was pretty scared ...His bedside manner totally put me at ease .5 years later my neck still doesnt hurt and I have great range if motion.

I had a gut feeling about him,so I cancelled he called me himself I will come to your home to see you.please let me help you.then the day of surgery I had that feeling again. So I ask him to please pray with me...he chopped me up the assisting Dr is a OBGYN!!! I did not know this it was so crooked he did not put in one screw then 4 of them broke...it did not fuse I went 2 year's suffering then I had my whole neck done by Dr Montalbano he had his hands full of a mess I still had to pay for both of them and now I'm better but still hurt and have a lot of nurve pain and chronic pain in my whole body!! I still have a big bill from Treasure Valley Hospital!!! Dr Verska should pay me a lot! I'm a mess thanks to him. Do not do not do not use this Dr.. No no no

Dr. Verska operated on me and inserted two rods to help relieve my Kyphosis following an automobile accident in which my neck was broken. The surgery was completed but not effective. In addition while removing surgical staples a pin size hole opened up as large as a silver dollar down to the bone on the back of my neck. I eventually had to return to the original surgeon in Oregon and have all of his work removed and replaced with the proper hardware in a 16-hour operation.

I injured my back many years ago (24) while working and was sent to this doctor for a impairment rating., because it was a work comp injury. He gave me a very, very small impairment and to this day I suffer enormously. In the near future I must have a lumbar fusion with a rod put in and because of his rating, I must be responsible for it. Don't go to this doctor for an impairment rating!

PLease take your time to research your doctors, this mn has had several law suites filed against him, my husband is now dying due to his negligence. PLease be very careful. I would not want anyone to go through what we are because of the carelessness of a doctor. My husband is losing his battle, I pray he never does this to another person, Even though we won the law suit, it will never give be back my husbands life and health. Br ware and research completely

I have had three back, and a anterior cervical disectomy surgeries with allograft and hardware performed by Dr. Verska over the last 15 years. In all surgeries I felt better immediately after surgeries than I felt immediately before the surgery took place. In my book, he is the BEST back surgeon in the country. He worked miracles with me. I wholeheartedly recommend his expertise to everyone I meet. He is definitely one of the Pacific Northwest's best Spinal Surgeons.

This "doctor" has crippled me with his evil hands. He'll keep you for 2 years, (under his care ) until the statue of limitations runs out and set you free,... CRIPPLED, RUINED, and WRECKED. He did it to me TWICE.
