Dr. Carr Vineyard joined the Carrell Clinic in 2011. He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and attended Highland Park High School where he was a captain of the Varsity football team. After high school, he attended Texas A&M University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Vineyard attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, where he graduated number one in his class, and earned several awards including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his Orthopaedic surgery internship and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he learned to manage complex orthopaedic problems including severe traumatic injuries. Dr. Vineyard developed an interest in surgery of the foot and ankle during residency, and was awarded a prestigious fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Duke University under the supervision of Dr. James Nunley, Dr. James DeOrio, Dr. Mark …Easley, and Dr. Selene Parekh. During fellowship, Dr. Vineyard was exposed to a wide range of complex foot and ankle conditions.

The entire experience was nothing but professional. The exam was not rushed the extreme matriculate exam was so refreshing to see. All my questions were answered and no hint of rush or you need to move on. Such a professional doctor

Dr Vinyard and staff are efficient and never feel rushed. The radiologists in the office are relaxed and friendly . Dr Vinyard explains all procedures and makes sure you understand all that is being done and results to expect. I would recommend to anyone needing the services he offers

Dr. Vineyard's knowledge, bedside manner, and artistry make him the premier ankle surgeon/specialist in the state if not the country! He was able to put me back together after a pretty nasty break. So thankful for him!

So far I think Dr. Vineyard is an excellent surgeon. However, his administrative assistant and the disability coordinator are very inefficient. Sometimes I think these people think that they are medical doctors. They try and speak for the doctor and think that you should just go along with it. Just ask the doctor for the correct information and stop arguing with the patient. I don't think he would be happy about the rating of his staff.

Dr. Vineyard was professional, smart and was able to accurately diagnose my ankle problem. He recommended an ankle fusion to stabilize my foot. The procedure was scheduled for that same week and done in the same building (North Texas Surgical Center). I was also impressed he (not his staff) called to check on how I was doing. I highly recommend this doctor and will return to him for any other problems without a doubt.
