I need hernia surgery. In doing the research, I found Dr. Voystock to be one of the highest recommended in the region. He is experienced in robotic surgery and has recommended same for me. He has performed typical hernia surgery for 25 years, prior to using the robotic technique. He has a very comforting approach and spent all the time needed in order to answer all of my pre-surgery questions.

I encountered Dr. Voystock when admitted to the ER and in need of an appendectomy. An excellent surgeon, he had no bedside manner. He spent mere minutes with me in the days following my surgery. When I wasn't recovering several days post-op he wanted to do exploratory abdominal surgery. I had to demand a second opinion and a hospitalist consult. As it turned out, I did not need more surgery I needed my pottasium and magnesium supplemented (which the hospitalist took care of). I also required Infectious Disease to get involved as the antibiotics I was on did not include all of the bacteria in my stomach. During my follow up two weeks later, he spent less than a minute with me and I had to ask him warning signs to be looking for. Dr. Voystock came highly recommended but I would not chose him should I need additional surgery in the future.
