Dr. Joseph Michael Wezensky, MD

Dr Joe is extremely knowledgable in all areas of health. He is easy to talk to and understand. He truly cares about his patients. There isn't too many of his kind left in the medical world. He makes you feel important and not just a number.

I had to laugh at a review I read in here saying Dr Wez was just in it for the money! I just had my first appointment with him, and I was scheduled for a full hour consult. We went over that time. Tell me what other doc does that? And when I have my procedure, I will be the only patient that day, as is his policy so he can concentrate on one person at a time and not feel rushed. I did have to call his office two times to make my appointment, but the purpose of this page is to rate the doctor, not the office staff. My wait time was less than 5 minutes. The staff was nice. I'll post a second review after my procedure.

You can instantly tell he is a Dr. that went to medical school to truly help people. He takes plenty of time with his patients and talks to you like a real person that he cares about. Highly recommend.

The best thing I can say is that Dr Wez is UNDERSTANDING! He helps. He tries to get to the root of the problems not just the symptoms. He knows his stuff. There are some negative reviews on here and I think that is because he holds his patients accountable and some people just want a prescription writer not a true doctor! He has made my life better after years of pain, and he keeps making improvements in my life.

Dr. Wezensky is a very caring and helpful doctor! He spends a lot of time with you and doesn't rush. He plans his schedule so that he can spend plenty of time diagnosing and then finding a way to help you. He has helped me tremendously.

Wait time in the office is very unexceptable! Sometimes up to 2 hours. Office visit turns into an hour of him telling you what he knows. Gets off track very easy. I like him but feel like I am very unworthy of his time. My entire day surrounds an appointment at his office. Very knowledgable though. Does not return phone calls like his message says. Very rarely is the phone answered or a message returned!

I wrote a ton regarding my appt and how happy I was and it didnt post...All I will say is that based on the comments I saw here on the site I almost cancelled my appt.Im SO glad I didnt! He is an amazing doc and I had an appt for one hour and fifteen minutes and he spent over 2 and a half with me. I have NEVER ever been so happy with a new appt and IM just thrilled to have found someone who finally will meet me needs and who CARES!I hope those of you who read these comments will undrstand that it only takes one or two people who arent happy to make it bad for this doctor's comments or ratings, but TRUST me...Im glad I went and didnt let others' comments sway me.Trust me...Youll be happy and get your needs met and more.Everyone was more than there for me when I needed questions, ect. and help after I had gone home, [over 5 hours away] and I had NO problem geting ahold of them...

very difficult to talk to a person on the phone. have to leave message, which may not be returned for days.no follow up on alternative treatments and proceduresspends a big part of an office visit (which I am paying for) digging through files to find hand-outs, instead of visiting with patients.closed 3 days per week, with no back up or any one to answer patient questions or concerns

This Dr. is very knowledgeable. But keep in mind,that is has far as it goes. He is in it for the money period. I went to him over 2 years ago and he helped me though a major issue,however since that time he will not refill a must needed prescription he put me on due to me owing him ( 128.00 ) this is even after lossing my home and several e-mails from my primary doctor who is despertly tring to control my blood pressure of over 245/145. With all the notes from my doctors and numouros calls by me to his office,not one call as been returned. Unless you are dying and need any one to help I would pleade with you to chose someone else.
