Dr. Joseph Lee Wilde, MD

I have a family history of melanoma and other cancers so I am very dutiful seeing a dermatologist annually. I showed Dr. Wilde a mole that I was very concerned about a year ago and he said it was nothing. My gut told me it wasn't normal. I asked him again a year later and he again said it was nothing. I insisted on a biopsy-it is malignant melanoma.

Front Range Dermatology - Fort Collins - Biggest mistake I made using them. I haven't left companies a 1-star review but this company deserves it. People involved who let me down. Dr. Luarel Stern, Customer Service Michelle Blum and Amanda. Front Desk intern about 16 years old very unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment for a skin checkup for a Thursday I arrived 5 minutes late after driving 40 minutes from Greeley to Fort Collins I had that whole day planned for meetings. The receptionist who was 16 years of age said that because I'm late I will have to come back tomorrow. She was super unfriendly and not helpful in me as a customer. I left extremely disappointed and frustrated that I now had to come back to Fort Collins from Greeley. I almost didn't want to come back after that. Unfortunately, I made the huge mistake of driving 40 minutes there and back the following day. Again about 2-3 young interns were working at the front desk. I gave them my medical insurance… information etc with no feedback on the cost of my appointment or how much out of pocket I would have to pay. I assumed that my medical insurance would cover my visit. A brief visit with Dr. Laurel Stearns she saw me for about 10 minutes concluded and wrote me a prescription and told me it would be ready at the Walgreens near my home. I asked if I needed to pay upfront or do anything else and she said no so I left the practice. About 30 days later I visited the Walgreens near my home however they had no prescription. I visited the second closest Walgreens and they also didn't have my prescription. So I checked my emails to see if they had sent me a notice however they haven't. At this point, I am beyond unhappy. I receive a bill in the mail for the visit and my insurance didn't cover my visit. I am okay with paying but I called Front Range Dermatology to get a customer service person to help me. The person on the line (Who I believe is Michelle Blum) told me she couldn't help me because she is going away on a trip buy will call next week on Wednesday. Wednesday comes around and nothing. So I call the following week Friday I call Front Range Dermatology to get this sorted out and they tell me my prescription is on the other end of town nowhere near my home. She also tells me to reach out to (Michelle Blum) to resolve my payment and the bad experience I have had. Every time I call it goes to voice mail. I've left her message but no response. Finally, here I am another week has gone by and no one has contacted me back and I want nobody else to experience this kind of terrible customer service. Your team really needs to step it out and figure out what is going on! Had I been contacted and helped I would have never left this review.

Dr Wilde was very professional and sensitive to my needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Dr. Wilde was extraordinary and the entire staff professional, courteous and on point. I had a terrible experience at Ft. Collins Skin Clinic - and Dr. Wilde and staff gave me the professionalism and care that I had hoped for all along. I highly recommend and wouldn't go anywhere else. I had squamous cell and the surgery was easy and perfect and my scar is barely even noticeable! considering it's right under my eye, that's a very big deal. Thank you! Nancy Haboush

Dr Wilde at front range dermatology removed a basal cell carcinoma and a melanoma that I had no idea I had. I went in for something completely different. After being diagnosed by Rachael in the Loveland office, I made an appt to see Dr Wilde in the Ft collins location. He was fast, precise, and listened to what I had to say. He personally called me after a procedure to see how I was doing. Thanks to him and his staff!

I have been treated by Dr. Wilde recently and am very satisfied by the experience. His office surgery process was very comfortable, and his skill and expertise left me with virtually no pain, no bleeding, and little discomfort through the procedure, the healing process, and the follow-up visit a week later. He and his staff have gained my trust and confidence!

Dr Wilde did a great job removing a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp. Very thorough with his explanation of what he was doing and what I could expect. Had a high concern for my comfort during and after the procedure - even called me at home afterwards to see how I was doing. Highly recommend Dr Wilde and FRDA

I'm very impressed with Dr. Wilde and his office staff/nurses. I was treated with dignity and was made to feel like I was the only patient he had. He performed a surgery on my nose, resulting in no scar to be seen. He also called my home the day of surgery just to check on my well-being.

All around great experience and would recommend to anyone!
