Dr. Joseph Martin Wolfe, MD

Dr Wolfe spent at least an hour with me establishing me as a new patient. He asked all about my family history and rather than calling my siblings brother #1 etc he asked their names. Dr Wolfe answered and my questions and addressed my concerns. I would and will recommend him very highly.

After an initial visit that seemed to suggest this was a caring professional, subsequent visits (when you can get them in a reasonable time) show Dr. Wolfe has neither the time nor care about your issues. He does not read messages fully. Instead, he relies on incapable NPs to handle your care. Need an RX refill? Plan on days and multiple requests before it is filled. Very disappointed.

If you or your parents are elderly please do yourself a favor and use a different physician. My father recently had a rough patch health-wise and went to a hospital looking to get help. ProHealth and Dr. Wolfe used this as an opportunity to use this situation against him to force him into a driving program-which wasn't covered by his insurance - or they would send in a medical review to the DMV to suspend his license. They used the mental health review at his worst stage as a reason for suspension without giving us the ability to get him reexamined to show he is indeed OK to drive. So we are now looking for an honest doctor who isn't trying to force "additional programs" on him to keep his license. If you have an elderly parent or are elderly yourself, please don't put yourself in this situation. They put their bottomline ahead of their patients best interest.

Ongoing issue for over 2 months and he won't follow up on it, keeps referring me to same depts that keep telling me they can't help me, he won't order follow up tests requested, everything keeps getting worse, and he keeps blowing it off. Even the dept manager and patient advocates don't return phone calls. So frustrated and sick. Absolutely at a loss.
