Dr. Joseph Patrick Wyse, MD

He is now charging a $100 fee to just be his patient. Maybe he used to care a lot about his patients, but it doesn't feel that way now.

I have had appointments with Dr. Wyse, where in the room he is not that bad. However he is completely rude and condescending when it comes to making appointments, or trying to find out information. If I am concerned in regards to my health, I should not have to be concerned to contact my doctor. Terrible bed side manner.

Joe Wyse has been my internist for nearly 20 years and my wife's for even longer. He is one of the last of a vanishing breed - a physician who is personally invested in the wellbeing of his patients and is willing to take the time necessary to understand the whole person. I feel fortunate that when my previous internist retired, Joe agreed to take me on as a new patient. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Wyse was fine until I complained about an office policy. Then, like another patient here, I received one of those "You have 30 days to find another physician" letters. Do yourself a favor. Find another doctor...preferably one in a different practice.

Dr. Wyse had been my doctor for 7 years. I left his nurse a voice mail message which he didn't like (I don't understand why the message made him so angry.). Two days later I received a certified form letter in the mail dumping me as a patient. The letter said he would see me on an emergency basis only for 30 days. and that I had to find a new doctor. I was shocked as I have a history of suicidal depression. I thought that sending that letter was very reckless. Another doctor of mine told me he had another patient that had received the same letter. I guess his kind bedside manner was all an act.

And I wasn't let down. He has quite a large fan club and it's no surprise. Terrific manner, professional and accessible. If you can get in as a new patient, I would highly recommend.

Dr Wyse never makes you feel like your just one of many. The Dr. spends time with his patients and appears concerned about their overall wellness.

Joe Wyse is an exceptional physician. He is very kind and very smart.We feel very fortunate to have found him as our primary care physician. The specialists he recommends are all top notch too.
