Dr. Josephine A. Clingan, MD

I haven’t used Dr Clingan in the last few years because I live just too far away !!!!! But have used her in the past and without a doubt the most caring professional Doctor I have ever had the opportunity to visit !!!! Super person and super Doctor !!!

Dr Jo is caring and compassionate physician. She does not like to see people in pain. She listens and try to work out a supportive plan that works well for you, while still being mindful of the impact of the medications and treatments.

Couldn't be happier with Dr Clingan. A warm, caring doctor that spent plenty of time explaining the procedure & did a great job. Highly recommend.

In the last several years, I have been to countless doctors. She by far was the most knowledgeable, willing to explain my situation, the procedure and hopeful outcome. I had the Epidural injection yesterday and waiting to see how it takes. She was warm, compassion and caring. I loved her.

Never have I met a more compassionate, caring and humane doctor. She has qualifies that I work hard to find in anyone to whom I entrust my health and happiness. She understands that pain is personal and demonstrates incredible empathy. She has a terrific way of making patients feel at ease. That's saying a lot because she has often had to inject pain medication at my eybrows and next to my ears, two very sensitive areas, to provide some relief from debilitating post-traumatic headaches, treating me with the same tenderness that she would show to a terrified child, telling me she knows the tiny needle is going to hurt some, but urging me to hang in there with her as she works to help me. The nurses, assistants and other staff members are tops, too. Dr. Clingan moved back to Georgia after practicing in New York City, and she has a trove of anecdotes to share from her time there. She is funny, loves to laugh and is simply amazing at her craft. We are truly fortunate to… have her back here in Atlanta.

There is nothing to dislike about Dr. Clingan. She listens, I mean really listens to your pain problems and wants to help her patients get back a quality of life and help the patient live with pain. All the staff is outstanding. She gives me positive feedback and hope. Other doctors could take lessons from Dr. Clingan and have happier patients.
