Dr. Josephine Elrod, DO

I have been going to her for years and she ALWAYS takes time to listen. She pushes for things that other doctors would just let go as it’s no big deal. My family was given some bad news and she cried with us. She has personally called checking in and follows our charts to see what is going on at other doctors and call and checks in. She is a great doctor.

I have seen Dr. Elrod a few times. Once was an emergency where she had to stitch my finger. What a wonderful job she done I have to really look to find the little scar. She was so kind and calmed me down a five star is well deserved .

After years of being a patient of Franklin Medical Group I am moving my care to a different doctor. She is dismissive of my health issues and only wants to treat symptoms, not the whole patient. The whole office is that way to a certain point. Even posting signs in their exam room telling patients not to discuss other health concerns. Many times a patient can have multiple symptoms or health concerns that all point to one condition. If the doctor is not aware of these how can they make a proper diagnosis? I will be moving to an office where they treat me like a patient not a problem.

I've been going to Doctor J. Elrod for the last 14 yrs. And she is absolutely the kindest, best Dr. I have ever been to. She listens to you. And is fantastic at what she doe's. I give her a thousand thumps up. Love you Dr. Elrod.??

Dr. Elrod is always very pleasant and so personable. You are never rushed to get in and out of the office. She spends time with you, asking questions about your overall health. She makes you feel very comfortable.

She has always provided friendly, professional care over the years. She has my highest respect.
