Dr. Josephine Miou Lee, MD

I have been a patient for 20 plus years. I especially like the fact that Dr. Lee listens, discusses and shares her opinions with you so that together you can find the right way to go about your care that is comfortable for you. She is thorough and takes the time to find the problem. I especially like the fact that she is not quick to medicate if not necessary.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lee for over 20 years as my primary doctor. I frequently bring health issues or questions to my appointment and Dr. Lee always takes the time to listen and consider and make recommendations. And it's always a conversation, not a monologue. I always feel comfortable raising any issue bothering me. She is knowledgeable, empathetic and I would highly recommend her to friends or family members.

Never again! This woman is the coldest, most removed, most pretentious, least talented physician I have ever encountered. She's a fem-bot, a mis-diagnosis machine and her diagnoses are as inappropriate and incoherent as the messages in fortune cookies. She is utterly dreadful. You can see by her resume that she is that rare individual who has gone through Albany Med's College of Medicine, a internship, a residency and is now an attending doctor--all at Albany Med. WHY? Because she's a double bonus--she is both female AND a minority. There is no other way that such an incompetent, a sub-mediocrity could possibly come to sit in the high chair of Internal Medicine. I wonder how many patients her idiocy has done serious harm--or worse. Stay away from this dreadful fraud.

after having been to a number of other doctors who never really paid attention to my problems and blamed everything on depression, I finally found dr lee. She is very thorough, friendly, and caring. what I like most about her is her ability to say she doesn't know what's wrong and send you to another doctor. after having earlier diagnosed with asthma, she didn't think I had asthma but wasn't sure what the problem was. she send me to specialists who finally determined I had a heart problem.

Dr. Lee is an excellent physician. She has been my primary doctor for the past four years. I have found her to be dedicated, competent, and thorough. I have every confidence in her ability to do what is best for her patients. I highly, and without reservation, recommend her, and, in fact, have recommended her to others.
