Dr. Josephine Nancy Rini, MD

I am a nuclear medicine physician with a special interest in PET/CT imaging of cancer. I graduated cum laude from Bryn Mawr College in 1985, and received my medical degree from Mayo Medical School in 1989. I completed an internal medicine internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1999, as a Captain in the United States Army. Subsequently I served as a General Medical Officer at Fort Sheridan and Fort Hamilton and completed residencies in internal medicine at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and in nuclear medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital, followed by a fellowship in positron emission tomography at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
I joined the staff at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1999, and was appointed an Assistant Professor of Nuclear Medicine and Radiology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in 2002.
I am certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. |
