Dr. Joshua Mordechi Blitstein

Unfortunately my family and I have a lot of experience with the health systems both here and up north. I’ve had great and not so great doctors. Dr Blitstein cared for me during my latest hospitalization. I don’t give compliments easily but Dr B earned my respect. He’s one of a kind. I’ve never had a doctor like him. He guided me thru the horrible process of being hospitalized. He fought for me to get to the safest and best skilled nursing center. I felt safe with him. I trusted him and that’s saying something nowadays. If you’re reading this Dr B. Know you have a place in my heart.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all that you did for me while I was in the hospital.  I wanted to thank you for your compassion, for looking at and following my case with such detail and skill, following up with all of the specialists, and for really being there for me during this intense and difficult time.  My shortness of breath is much improved, and overall my quality of life has been greatly improved. I haven't felt this good in over 2 years.  Even the swelling in my abdomen has gone down, probably due to the change in meds you made, so thank you for finding that.  I'm not 100% yet, but I can get back to some activity such as walking around the block and riding bikes.  Thank you Dr Blitstein. You are one of a kind! If I ever have to be admitted again, I hope I would be so fortunate to have you on my case.

Thank you so much for your outstanding care while we were vacationing in Florida. You took such outstanding care of me while I was in the ******Hospital for 3 nights and days. You went above and beyond to connect with me as a patient and listened to my concerns. Thank you for always taking the time to update our son. He is a PA in the emergency room in ******. You are an amazing doctor and your bedside manner is exemplary. I was so blessed by you and your care for me. I will be seeing a Pulmonologist and Cardiologist next week. Dr Blitstein cared for my father during a recent hospitalization. This was the hardest time in out lives and Dr Blitstein truly went beyond what even I expected of a doctor in his position. He is highly skilled, truly knows his craft and has a genuine sense of compassion and empathy Ive never seen before in a doctor. With us he never sugar coated or gave half truths. He was always honest, which was hard at times but appreciated. If he had a clinic I know my family and I would love to be his patients. Thank you Dr. You are a wonderful and caring physician. Please never change.

Dr. Blitstein was very kind. He spent a lot of time with me talking through different options and making sure I was comfortable, both mentally and physically. He listens thoroughly and addressed all of my concerns. A smart and compassionate doc with an efficient work ethic and very professional.

Blitstein was rude, arrogant, pompous, condescending and very unethical when he talked ‘at’ my husband and I during my husband’s hospital stay. Blitstein was fired by my husband for any future care. New doctor that handles himself as such, either incompetent or terrified of failing or likely both.
