Dr. Joshua Graham Burkhardt

I was told that they would be open by the time I arrived. I left work and made the trip up to his office. Upon arrival I learned that the office had close. I called and someone answered the phone only to tell me that even though I was just outside the door they would not retrieve my stuff. I was also informed that the time the office closes is not a set time but varies depending on when the Doctor decides to close up for the day. I had to turn around drive the two hrs back home. Only to turn back around and drive back up the next day

The times when I have been seen by Dr. Burkhardt he has been great; he has been attentive and was very helpful. However, when I need to make an appointment (because I am sick, need a prescription, etc. )and it takes two weeks to be seen, then you wait between 40 minutes to an hour to be seen, it is less than ideal. The usual occurrence is waiting 15-20 mins in the lobby, then 30-40 minutes in the room just for them to tell you its going to be longer. Its difficult to make appointments (I use the word appointment loosely) when you have to take time off from your work day just for them to ask if you can reschedule. I unfortunately will need to find care elsewhere since it is becoming the norm to wait unrealistically long periods of time to be seen.

Dr. Burkhardt is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Sadly his staff in Orem is incompetent. They miss scheduled four of my appointments. Finally I gave up and found a different allergist with a competent staff. Dr. Burkhardt is good, but his Orem staff makes him inaccessible.

The service was great. dr.Joshua Burkhardt is a very knowledgeable, kind and helpful doctor. I would recommend anyone to go to him. The nurses were also very nice and helpful!
