Dr. Joshua Daniel Claunch, MD

My wife and I each made separate visits to Dr. Claunch with my son to help with his diagnosis and treatment. We both agree Dr. Claunch was best experience we have had. He first was quite warm and made my son feel comfortable. He spent significant time trying to fully understand my sons perspective in it all, and finally he explained a deep topic simply and with compassion.

Dr Claunch made clear statements that I had something in my brain MRI that needed monitoring and we’d repeat the MRI in 6-8 months. I spent the next 6 months anxious and stressed, experienced additional issues. Claunch was unavailable/on leave for an extended period of time. With my new issues, and having been told there was something that needed to be monitored, I had to seek out help from others. Now, 6 months later, Claunch claims he never said that. I repeated, verbatim, our prior conversation, which he now “vaguely recalls.” The stress and anxiety this man dropped on my shoulders, thoughtlessly and apparently needlessly, is unforgivable. When asked if he could understand why I am so annoyed and disappointed in the care he provided he stated he didn’t know why I was upset. My last 6 months have been hellish, in VERY large part, thanks to this man. Glad I went to Boston and dropped him.

One of the kind doctors that makes you comfortable and at peace. Great specialist ! good sense of humor as well.

I can’t remember the last time I felt completely heard and understood. Dr. Claunch explained my condition well. Listens carefully and take his time to explain. He answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed. Dr. Joshua D Claunch is one of the best doctors I have seen in a while. I am so happy that I have him as my doctor.
