Dr. Joshua Bert Erickson

I cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. Josh and the entire Erickson Pediatric staff. My 5 year old daughter came down with a toothache over the weekend while we were out of town. Her pain was so bad that it kept her from sleeping. We were able to find a dentist to see her for an emergency visit over the weekend, but he basically said he didn't see any signs of infection and to follow up with a pediatric dentist on Monday. After returning home I began the search for a dentist who was willing to take a new patient and see her for what I assumed would be a complicated visit. I was fortunate to find Erickson Pediatric Dentistry. From the moment we walked in the door I knew there was a reason we weren't able to find the care she needed anywhere else. My daughter needed to see Dr. Josh! Turns out my baby had an abscess tooth that needed to be removed. My daughter doesn't do pain well, but Dr. Josh and his staff made the entire experience so comforting that she never shed a tear or showed… sign of fear or discomfort. As if spending hours fixing my baby girl wasn't enough, Dr. josh called us personally tonight to see how she was doing. We are beyond blessed to have found such an amazing dentist. Dr. Josh is so good with children and really wants them to have positive dental experiences. He and the staff do all they can to alleviate fears. Exceptional care, great front desk staff as well. It is a busy office because word of mouth has spread that this is the dentist for your kids!

He really is a great dentist, does awesome work. He has my complete confidence when he tells us what needs to be done. His "chair-side manner" is usually good, although we have had times that he has to rush through the exam because they are so busy. We have had to wait 30 minutes to an hour after the time of our appointment, I would say the average wait is 20-30 minutes. It's great that they are busy - he's a great dentist and I understand people wanting to see him. I also think that the quality of patient care should be top priority, maybe they need to limit the number of new patients they take on. They hired another dentist, I'm hoping it will improve wait times!
