Dr. Joshua Evan Fuhrmeister, MD

Thankful for his being able to diagnose a rather rare problem that had affected me very greatly and limited my ability to drive due to pain when seated. Even sitting at home was painful. He is wise and thoughtful. He has worked to get relief for back pain- I am not using medication and am relieved to have other options after seeing what side effects medication can have.

NO COMMENT / HE AIN'T WORTH THE TIME / TO MUCH AND ALL BAD TO WRITE ABOUT!!!!

1. Doctor was inconsiderate and didn't take any time to listen to the medical issues I am experiencing. 2. He was very unprofessional and showed a complete lack of care. Just out to make a buck, 3. He will tell you you need a shot but don't give them, then he will send you to another clinic for it and another copay not to mention waiting in the another waiting room forever.

I am a workers comp patient, I was treated very unfairly, my pain can get very intense. And it’s very time consuming with workers comp. I ask Dr. Fuhrmiester for a referral to have a psychiatrist consultation, because I’m having other issues related, and because he is my workers comp Doctor for my related issues Well he refuse to write an order for a referral, and he also dismissed me as his patient. He stated we were not on the same page. And I was DROP!!! It’s not that easy to call up another Neurologist, when it’s workers comp involved. So I’m left without a pain management Doctor. Just because I ask for a referral??? Very unethical!!

Dr Furmeister is the best. He cares about his patients and gives the patient the total confidence to trust him. This meant a lot to me. He has helped me out of several painful experience and difficulties. I worship Dr. Furmeister. I hope he will be my forever doctor.

Dr. Fuhrmeister has been helpful to me. He isn't the most warm and fuzzy doc I've ever been to - sort of quiet and withdrawn - but I don't go to doctors for their social skills, and he has provided me with good explanations for what is going on, clear options for care, and treatments that did what they were supposed to do. His PA, Mary Phillips, is really fantastic. She seems to have time to have a complete discussion with you about treatment options, and makes suggestions that are truly helpful. Unfortunately, the office staff is often rude and unhelpful, especially on the phone. Scheduling is a nightmare. They will talk to you as if you are just really asking too much when you want to explain something (yes, it might not be exactly their job... but we patients don't really know that), and they often speak to you in an exasperated tone of voice, as if you were a toddler or something. It has ALWAYS been this way at this office, for the entire 6 years I have been seeing them. Once you… get to the epidural injection itself... everyone is really friendly and professional. When you see the MD or PA... friendly and professional. BUT - I am still considering trying to find somewhere else, because running the staff gauntlet is NO FUN. I find myself wishing that Mary Phillips, PA, could just go into business for herself... I'd go there.

Dr Fuhrmeister is the best. His office is filled with kind, caring staff and he is very good. I would go nowhere else.

The doctor is great! the staff awful! would not complete my leave paperwork first telling me there was a $25 charge which I did not mind then someone else told me they don't fill FMLA paperwork out at all. I had an appointment date given to my at my last office visit which was more then a 2 month wait for pain treatment to be told no one ever set the time for the procedure they call you 2 days before to tell you the time.

Dr. Fuhrmeister is the best! He diagnosed my condition and has dramatically helped reduce my pain. If you want a caring doctor, then go see him.
