Dr. Joshua P Golden, MD

Dr Golden took me in a bad time of my life seeing me several times in a week. Have his personal phone number for emergencies. He is kind compassionate and is down to earth. He will tell it like it is. So glad that I found his practice!

Disappointed in Dr. Also, his daughter who works in the office made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I should've known when I first walked into the office and saw what a dark, dirty, disheveled hot mess it was (not even a coat rack, mismatched clearly 2nd hand chairs) that it reflected their feelings about the clients. It was, to me, a very depressing office environment. Also,you regularly have to wait between 45 mins to an hour to be seen for 10 minutes. There was never an apology for keeping me waiting so long. I personally, and speaking only for myself, felt very disrespected and not cared about as a person who was really suffering inside. I began to feel that I was just another office visit charge. I had to leave. It got to the point where I dreaded going to my appointments which should have been monthly but he insisted on twice a month after 2 years of being stabilized on meds. I'm seeing somebody else now on a reasonable monthly basis and actually look forward to… my appointments. I'm doing a lot better now, thankfully. A lot better!

Very unpleasant and unprofessional environment. The office is dirty, dark, dank, with old chairs that look like they were taken from a dumpster. There is absolutely no fresh air circulating. I don't get sick often but found that when i did it was always within 24-48 hours after waiting in his office for my appointment which was consistently 45-60 minutes late. Never an apology for keeping me waiting like most every other doctor I've seen who was even 10 minutes late. The receptionist is socially inept and impossible to communicate with. She's extremely stand-offish and very difficult to interact with. So, I wait 45-60 minutes for a 10 minute appointment at which time the doctor is furiously typing on his keyboard for the entire visit. I was becoming disillusioned with him when I was told to google his name to find out more about him. When I googled his name, what came up regarding his legal history (this is all public information) shocked me. So, between the 45-60 minute… wait in a filthy stuffy office with a receptionist who made me feel very uncomfortable, for a 10 minute visit with a doctor who didn't look at me, but rather his keyboard, and who had what I thought to be a bad legal history based on newspaper articles I read and anybody can read, I left. I could never ever put myself thru that. I use to dread going to an appointment with him for all my stated reasons. I feel so much better under the care of somebody else.

This guy had a criminal record and is a scam on your insurance. He is the most unprofessional, idiotic and arrogant doctor you will meet. He clearly only has patients because he writes lax prescriptions for patients when they are hurting. Office is terribly Managed, wait time is increasingly long, appointments are short and if his clientele were any people besides individuals in treatment, he would be out of business. Furthermore, he has a criminal record and will scam your insurance and you. Erin also sucks and is a terrible receptionist/person in general. There are hundreds of other doctors to seek for treatment, go to them not Dr Golden!

He’s a living nightmare. He’s mean and cold hearted. Doesn’t listen to a word that comes out of your mouth. Thinks he is some sort of god because he has a doctors degree. Likes to hear you call him doctor so his head can inflate larger. I’m someone who likes to try and give people chances to prove that to me he was going to really listen and care to what I was feeling and what I needed. After the initial shock of his extremely rude behavior on the first visit we’re I should have ran away when I wanted to. But no being the person I am I tried I also didn’t read all his bad reviews and didn’t know anything about his legal situation. So if I had done that first then I definitely would have ran away. He likes to up your medication does even when you tell him it’s not making you feel well he tries to convince you to keep upping your dose. He always says it’s never the medications fault for any way you feel. As soon as I took myself down I instantly felt better. Thank god I choose… never to come back who know how sick he would have made me most likely I would have ended up in the hospital. I’m still trying to recover from his horrific medication advice. He really needs to step away from this practice making people sick and or keeping them sick is absolutely sickening to think of. Minor notes yes his wait time is over an hour from your appointment time and yes his receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. Do not go to this place if you value your health and sanity. All true because it’s no joke to toy with peoples lives especially the ones that need your help the most when there at their lowest. How can you do that to people....what went so wrong in your life that this is what you do to people for a living.

I saw Dr. Golden for over 2 1/2 years. Over the course of 2 1/2 years he treated me as if I were inferior. I spent thousands of dollars for opioid treatment to which illegally went into his pocket. He does not care about his patients and admits an aura of never being wrong. I would never wish for anyone to be treated by this person.

Dr. Golden is arrogant, rude, dismissive, and does not listen to patient concerns. I had an extremely bad withdrawal syndrome from one of my meds and he told me I was exaggerating. He knows everything and you know nothing, including how YOU feel. His wait time is ridiculous, the office is hot and stuffy, and his receptionist is neither friendly nor efficient. Do yourself a favor and see another doctor.

He is a liar and his receptionist ERIN is the worst to deal with.

the office reeks of cigarettes and the receptionist is very very rude. As far as Dr. golden he is extremely rude and does not care about his patients at all. Any normal appointment with any other physiatrist lasts 30 minutes to an hour but his appointments last 5 minutes tops. He's one of the rudest people I've ever met and his confedentiality he has with minors is compleatly unexpectable
