When my jaw pain turned into the worst headache ever, I knew I had to do something about it, and a friend of mine recommended me Dr Josh. My pain almost completely disappeared after my first appointment. I only had a bit of residual pain left, which completely disappeared the next day. Words can't describe how much it changed my life! I also really like that Dr Josh is focused on helping me with my pain, as opposed to having me coming back every week even when I don’t need it, or try to make me pay upfront for 10 visits as I have experienced with other chiropractors in Des Moines. I was nervous at the idea to see a new chiropractor, but he is really professional and I felt safe from the get-go. Going to his practice is a great experience and I feel so good after my appointments.

I had a horrible experience in the past with neck pain and I went to a different doctor to get adjusted and was left scared and in more pain. Needless to say I was a little hesitant when Dr. Hanisch said my headaches would most likely go away with a neck adjustment. However, he walked me through what he was going to do and let me ask all questions and answered them without annoyance. I wish there was a better rating than 5 because I would give him that. I’ve been going to see him now for over 5 years and I have more energy and the pain in my neck and back has decreased to nonexistent with regular adjustments.
