Dr. Joshua Bernard Hvidding, MD

Dr Hvidding has been my provider for almost 2 years now. He’s incredibly kind, very professional, and always quick to respond to messages concerning issues with the pharmacy, refills, or appointments. He goes above and beyond to help. Very thankful to have him as my doctor.

Most awful appointment with a psychiatrist. 12 min telehealth visit. He was not attentive at all. Seemed not to be listening. Maybe it's why he misreported so many things in the visit summary. I said I was suicidal. In the visit summary he reports I wasn't. Also reports denied any attempts; I told him I did as a teen. He didn't even bother to ask any further questions. One of the first things I said to him was I've had trouble sleeping and barely slept. His summary shows I denied any insomnia. My MDD was previously classified as severe. He reported moderate. I was distressed, depondent and anxious. All he used to describe my mood was "sad." Seems like he doesn't like to bother with details. To me, it is a total misrepresentation of the important parts of my visit. Zero compassion; horrible bedside manner. I'd give a zero if I could. I'm reporting him to the medical board. He is DANGEROUS

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I had an appointment to be seen as a new patient and the Dr didn't even show. I attempted logging on 2min before my appointment and continued to try until 6min after my appointment should've started. Each time I got an error message stating that the Dr was no longer available. Why wouldn't you be available for a SCHEDULED appointment, especially given that my first attempt to join was before my scheduled time? I sent a message to the Dr and 15min later I recieved a notice stating I had missed my appointment and was being charged a $40 no show fee. I should've done my research on this Dr before scheduling my appointment. Seems like NO ONE has a pleasant experience with him.

This was very disappointing and a complete waste of $250. This was a virtual visit and he was clearly in a public place because I could hear other people talking when he would unmute. He kept muting again and again and when he did talk, he was whispering. He didn’t ask me anything except what meds I tried in the past and if any family members were on meds. Without knowing much of anything, he quickly suggested something and it was one I had already tried and from a classification I told him didn’t work for me. I asked about a medication my friend takes and he quickly said he would send that and barely told me how to take it. No informed consent at all. Didn’t ask if I had any other questions. A complete disgrace to the profession and physicians.
