Dr. Jakum is the most caring doctor. He makes you feel like you're the only patient there. His bedside manners are great! Not to mention, he understands all your concerns as a parent and listens to both the parent and child. He does a good job with making sure my kids feel welcome and comfortable and he enjoys having conversations with the kids.

Dr. Jakum is the absolute best pediatrician! He truly cares for his patients and wants to make sure that you feel heard and that he gets all of the information to provide the best care possible. He is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile for his patients.

Dr. Jakum is very personable. He is thorough,professional and great with kids. My 8 year old son felt very comfortable and at ease while Dr. Jakum performed his exam. I brought my 8 year old son in to discuss the severe migraines he's been having. Dr. Jakum addressed all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend him.

An absolutely wonderful and smart Doctor! Highly recommend Dr. Jakum! My children LOVE him! We drove over an hour to see Dr. Jakum because of the wonderful care he provided our children. He was the attending physician when one of our children became critically ill. Dr. Jakum was able to take charge of the situation, work through his diagnoses and stayed with my son until he was able to get him transferred to a higher level hospital. I will never forget one of the nurses said to me this is the doctor you want in this situation. We were lucky enough to have Dr. Jakum care for our sons for 6 years before we moved out of state and since then we haven't been able to find anyone to replace him. I also appreciated how Dr. Jakum hand selected which specialists he sent our children to. This took much research time and stress off of us.

Dr. Jakum wrote my son's ADHD medication prescription for over a year. He asked us to get an updated psychological evaluation before he would write more. It took longer than expected due to insurance change and he still would not write one more pending the results of evaluation due in two weeks and wouldn't even call me to discuss. We changed pediatricians.
