Dr Marcus has a reputation as a skilled surgeon. I was in a lot of pain and he performed surgery on me which has allowed me to resume my normal life and routine. I am immensely grateful that he performed the surgery.

Before I was referred to Dr. Marcus, I had been seen by 13 doctors and had many tests done with no relief; I continued to be bed bound with extreme hip and radiating leg pain from the lumbar spine for 3 months. In the attentive care of Dr. Marcus I knew I was in good hands. He is extremely knowledgable and was able to pinpoint the sources of pain in my spine, completing a multilevel spinal fusion. Dr. Marcus is very kind and his compassion made me feel comfortable undergoing this procedure. At two months post-op, I am no longer taking medications and the pain has resolved. Dr. Marcus gave me my life back, I am grateful to have found his practice. His staff has also been notably accommodating and helpful.

I have pain and lack of feeling in my right foot and leg for along time. After experiencing a foot drop and a fall Dr. Marcus diagnosed and then solved my issue. He did an amazing job doing a spinal fusion of the L5 to S1. Loving the results!!

I am an older person and went to many doctors for pain management and other non invasive treatments including chiropractic and acupuncture, for a pinched nerve in my back that radiated down my leg. The pain was excruciating. Dr. Marcus was confident and clear that he knew that my nerve was pinched and no amount of injections could fix my structural problem. I first met Dr. Marcus in the ER for a pinched nerve and sudden pain and paralysis in my left arm. Dr. Marcus explained the situation and how we should first pursue conservative treatments for a herniated disc in my back. He gave me his personal cell phone to call with questions over the weekend. Ultimately I had ACDF surgery with Dr. Marcus. I recovered in record time and have while only 6 weeks post op have had a great outcome.

Dr. Marcus is beyond amazing. Sincere, upfront, and honest with my situation. I had constant tingling & numbness in my left arm. I sought help from a massage therapist who ended up referring me to a chiropractor who suggested I should see my Primary Dr for pain medication. My Dr referred me to Dr. Marcus. After seeing Dr. Marcus, he suggested following through with the MRI. I had a herniated disc -C6-C7, which he already knew given my symptoms. He recommended trying the injection, but it did not work for me. Surgery was the next option. I was nervous, but Dr. Marcus was very articulate about the procedure and answered all my questions. He even worked with my insurance. He was very supportive pre and post-surgery. Surgery was a success! Everything Dr. Marcus told me was right on point. I am now a month after surgery and feel great! arrived at the ER with severe constant pain in my leg and was unable to walk more than a few feet. I was referred to Dr Marcus who immediately ordered an emergency MRI which revealed a herniated disc (L-3). After lengthy discussions and its severity Dr. Marcus recommended surgery .(steroids were previously prescribed) Dr Marcus took time, listened to my concerns and explained the procedure, a minimally invasive microdiscectomy. After the procedure I awoke in recovery and was amazed the pain was substantially reduced to the point I was able to dress myself and walk out that same day. Dr Marcus is a talented surgeon whom I highly recommend. When there was a hiccup with the MRI process, he personally responded to the issue to have it resolved.
