Dr. Joshua Benjamin Max, MD

I have been going to Dr. Max for several years. I have a long history of stomach issues, especially radiation burn from the treatment for colon cancer. Dr. Max has been the best in knowing how to help with that discomfort and he knows how to practice the "art" of medicine. By that I mean he knows how to connect with his patients, takes time with them, explain things in terms appropriate to the patient's knowledge and education. I have found him to be a good person, honest, and accurate in his diagnosis. I highly recommend him!

I think that Joshua Max, MD is an excellent physician. He knows what he is talking about and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. I never feel that I am being rushed when speaking with him. The only thing that I don't like about the Tri-Health Gastroenterology Department is making an appointment. This has nothing to do with Dr. Max, but it surely is a nuisance to try to make an appointment with any Tri-Health doctor.

He is very easy to talk to and is truly concerned about your issues. He is a very good Dr. with one of the Best Bedside manners anyone could ask for.

Dr Max is the only reason I am health and not in and out of the hospital every other week. I have Crohn's and he took the time to review my condition and treat it the right way! He is always looking out for me as any Dr should. I have seen other Dr. that wanted to use me as a experiment for the drugs they were trying to pass... Not him, he knew what I needed and even fought my insurance company when they refused to cover it!!
