Dr. Meaike made me feel at ease right off the bat. He explained his diagnosis and the treatment options very thoroughly. His staff were very friendly too. Recommend him highly.

Dr Meaike seemed attentive and was able to work with me to attempt to resolve my issues. He took time tto explain what he felt was the issue in my hand. I do not like that the next day nursing staff would not believe me that a PT order was faxed to the wrong facility, and it took 6 hours to resolve. I had to work on this issue between me seeing my clients. Send a picture of the voice mail and still I get not sure how that happened we sent it to the right place. No you did not, and it should have only taken one message from me to correct. Also I called and had the order faxed over from one facility to the other when I could.

He is very attentive when you describe what and where the pain is. Instead of just going through the motions he genuinely seems that he cares. He fixed my one hand and now im going to schedule him to fix my other. I give him a solid A.

Ii am very happy with my care from Dr Meaike. So satisfied that I’m working with staff to have same procedure done on my left arm and hand as soon as possible. Great relief from pain and numbness I was experiencing before. Thanks so much!!

I’d absolutely recommend Dr. Meaike. He listened to all the information I gave him — which unfortunately was a lot due to everything I’ve been dealing with regarding my bilateral hand pain. He walked me through my X-rays and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. He also reviewed all treatment options with me, starting with the least invasive and working up to more involved options if needed. I really appreciated that he never made me feel rushed, which seems rare these days. It was honestly refreshing to finally have a provider acknowledge what I’ve been dealing with and give me legitimate answers so I could better understand how to handle things going forward.

I appreciate the way the Doctor Meaike describes the conditions of my cargo tunnel. It helps me understand what can be further done and possibly what can’t and that makes it livable.

Dr. Meaike was very friendly and professional. This was our first visit with him for my 8 year old daughter who hurt her arm. My daughter was very scared and nervous in his office. He was very patient and calming. He explained her injury in detail while explaining and showing us her xrays. He reassured us and was confident in her treatment plan. He offered other scenarios if she didnt improve and was able to accommodate our schedule by seeing her for a follow-up appointment in Yankton where we live.

First evaluation exam for possible Carpal Tunnel with Dr Meaike. I feel he was excellent.....he has a sense of humor, asked questions thoroughly, and had plenty time for my questions, especially since we are looking at a whole new issue with the aging human body. He and his nurse are both great at discussing the options today and going forward. Thanks for a very good experience again at O.I.!
