Dr. Joshua Todd Mendelson, MD

Dr. Mendelson seems like a very good doctor. But it is very hard to get in touch with him. He cancelled my appointment that's a month away. I never received a courtesy phone on how my tests went. Hopefully it's gets better going to see him or I'll be looking for a third doctor.

Bought my sister to dr Mendelson and she was diagnosed with dementia at 54 years old. Dr Mendel sons secretary is by far the rudest person. When trying to get them to fill out paperwork for my sister to get disability (she is a single mom with kids at the time 16 and 19) they took their sweet time. When I called they transferred me to business manger who told me that she had 30 days to fill out paperwork and she was going to use the whole 30 days. Then when I called social security they told me that they were still waiting for a test to be completed. When I told them test was conmpleted months ago I had to call the testing place and the drs there faxed the results that day so my sister could colect social security. That manger purposely didn’t send that test result. You are only as good as your surport team and they suck. Hopefully karma will come around and when they get sick they will deal with somebody just like themselves. If I could give a zero I would

upon going to this office for MANY years i was assigned a new doctor because mine had left and for good reason i might add! i had already requested a new doctor because the first one was so rude and dr mendelsohn was not much better and his secretary is less than pleasant to say the least!

Overall, I would recommend Dr. Mendelson: he is relatively open to running different diagnostics - what I would consider as going "above and beyond" - to get to the root cause of a problem, especially compared to other neuros I've been to. Plus, while he is willing to try different treatment options to alleviate pain, he seems to do so cautiously yet practically. He generally takes his time in the exam room, though once or twice (within a year's time), he seemed a little rushed. The front desk staff is always pleasant and helpful; and it is nice that each doctor in the practice has their own assistant, so you are always dealing with the same person. Dr. Mendelson also is very good at referring to other doctors within the practice if you need additional diagnostics outside of his scope.

Very kind and caring doctor. Never had a doctor who reviewed all prior records so thoroughly and spent time discussing and explaining all details of his diagnosis. Backed all that up with testing which perfectly confirmed his diagnosis. He is a wonderful doctor in all aspects of his care and would strongly recommend him to all family and friends. If you are looking to be seen quickly, he may be your go to person. If you want to go to the right doctor with the right staff, I would not nor could not recommend him to be your go to person. First doctor to ever really disappoint like this and between me and my family members, we have been to plenty of specialists over the years. No follows up or follow through from their side nor do they even try to show or pretend like they really care.

Dr. Mendelson is a nice doctor, can hold a conversation with you but he doesn't listen to the extent you'd like in order to feel comfortable with his diagnosis. His front desk staff are very rude, not warm and inviting at all. The wait time is rather poor as well, approximately 45 minutes is unacceptable.

The doctor is good but the office is rude and do not understand customer service. They called my wife and my self too sensitive and hung up on us several times when all we attempted to do was get in touch with dr. Mendelson. Terrible experiences at this office. Then to be affiliated with dr. Anayotos is another bad situation for mendelson. Sorry dr. Mendelson, but you need to switch to a better caring office and get out of an office full of rude and inconsiderate staff members!

I highly recommend Dr. Mendelson to anyone who needs to be seen by a Neurologist. I see him in the Long Branch office and could not be more happy with the service of the Doctor and all the staff members.
