Joshua S. Mervis, MD

Dr. Joshua Mervis specializes in dermatology with a particular focus on wound healing and complex skin conditions. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2023. Dr. Mervis also completed an internal medicine internship at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2020, along with a fellowship in Wound Healing Clinical and Research at the University of Miami/Miller School of Medicine in 2010. With seven years of experience in practice, he brings specialized training in both general dermatology and advanced wound care.

Dr. Mervis practices at multiple Tufts Medicine locations throughout the Boston area, including dermatology offices in Brookline and Boston, as well as the Vascular, Wound and Hyperbaric Care center. His expertise encompasses treating common skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and hidradenitis suppurativa. He …performs various skin procedures including lesion removal and treatment, cryotherapy for skin lesions, and laser therapy for skin conditions.
